ABO Energy Secures Tariff for Gubin Solar Park in Poland

ABO Energy has achieved a significant milestone with the awarding of a tariff for its first solar park in Poland. The Energy Regulatory Office (URE) granted the contract for the 17-megawatt peak solar project in Gubin, a former military site. This development follows the project's grid connection approval, marking a pivotal achievement in its progression.

The Gubin solar park will provide electricity to over 6,000 homes, signaling ABO Energy's growing presence in the Polish renewable sector. Already established in Poland since 2019 with an office in Łódź, ABO Energy has expanded its portfolio to include additional solar and battery storage projects nationwide.

The Polish renewable market is growing, aiming to increase its renewable share in the energy mix from 29% to 56% by 2030. Despite regulatory hurdles affecting wind energy expansion, ABO Energy continues to focus on solar and battery projects, strengthening its position in Poland's energy transition.
