Aclara Resources Partners with Stanford for AI in Rare Earths

Aclara Resources Inc. has announced a new collaboration with Stanford University's Mineral-X initiative. This partnership aims to enhance the supply chain of heavy rare earth elements (HREE) through artificial intelligence innovations. Aclara's U.S.-based subsidiary has initiated a long-term Letter of Intent with Mineral-X to develop AI technologies for HREE supply chain optimization from exploration to processing.

The collaboration focuses on several key objectives, including the joint development of AI models for better target mineralization, fostering academic exchanges, promoting sustainable exploration, and co-authoring scientific publications. The initiative also plans future research and development projects to further their strategic alliance.

Aclara's CEO, Ramón Barúa, emphasized the partnership's role in strengthening global rare earth supply chains by combining industry expertise and AI technology. Aclara, known for its resource development projects in Brazil and Chile, aims to improve its resource exploration and contribute to sustainable and efficient supply chain solutions.
