Adesso to Revamp AOK's Portal Architecture

Adesso SE has been entrusted with a strategic project by AOK, serving a community of 27 million policyholders. This initiative focuses on developing a standardized portal architecture for AOK's front-end applications, initially set for four years with a budget of up to EUR 20 million. An extension of four more years is possible.

The goal is to establish a customer-centered, interoperable digital ecosystem that supports rapid deployment of innovative solutions while ensuring system integration. This infrastructure promises increased efficiency, reduced maintenance costs, and consistent user experience. It also encourages innovation by integrating external solutions.

The project, which began in May, involves consulting, implementing, and maintaining front-end applications. Adesso’s state-of-the-art technology will interface with AOK’s core systems via a standardized integration layer, focusing on user-centric design.
