Aeonian Resources Partners with Shuswap Band for Responsible Exploration

Aeonian Resources Ltd. has signed an agreement with the Kenpesq't Business Group of the Shuswap Band. This partnership will focus on archaeological and wildlife management planning to support Aeonian's exploration permits. It is the first exploration-specific contract for the Kenpesq't Business Group, known for its agreements with regional mines.

The agreement highlights the Shuswap Band's commitment to responsible exploration in their traditional territory, providing Aeonian with local knowledge and support. The initial focus is on archaeological studies and a Wildlife Management Plan to reduce environmental impact. Early reconnaissance at the Jake Hill target shows low archaeological potential, allowing exploration drilling to proceed.

Aeonian CEO Andy Randell emphasized the agreement's importance for responsible exploration and reconciliation, aligning with Canada's Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action 92. Kenpesq't Archaeologist Sophie Brissette remarked on the agreement's role in economic reconciliation and a collaborative industry approach.
