Carvolix Advances TAVIPILOT Software Toward European Launch

Carvolix, previously Affluent Medical, has submitted the CE marking dossier for its TAVIPILOT Software, a critical step for its European release. The certification is anticipated by the end of 2026, with commercialization in early 2027. This regulatory progress follows the software's ongoing commercialization in the US.

TAVIPILOT Software provides real-time guidance for TAVI procedures. Success has been noted from its first US deployment at Rush University Medical Center, where 10 patients benefited from the AI-enhanced visualization capabilities.

Carvolix aims to initially launch the software in France and Germany, major TAVI markets. Expansion strategies include reinforcing commercial resources to integrate the software in clinical practices. The company plans to follow up with a robotic platform compatible with TAVIPILOT.

This initiative is backed by promising US clinical outcomes, contributing to the software's growing credibility. The first-hand experiences complement prior data from Australia and France, reinforcing its effectiveness in the medical community.
