AFYREN Resumes Production Post-Technical Shutdown

AFYREN, a greentech firm specializing in biobased ingredients, has announced the resumption of production at its AFYREN NEOXY plant. This follows a successful one-month technical shutdown in June 2026, aimed at upgrading equipment as part of their ongoing consolidation plan. The shutdown, which involved 20,000 working hours and a €6 million investment, concluded on schedule and within budget.

Production at the plant is set to accelerate in the second half of the year, following a promising first semester marked by doubled revenues compared to 2025. The shutdown required adjustments due to intense heat but recorded no safety incidents.

Nicolas Sordet, CEO, acknowledged the efforts of AFYREN's teams and contractors in completing the shutdown efficiently and safely. This development is expected to drive increased production capacity and efficiency at the plant.
