AGIBOT WORLD CHALLENGE 2026 Pushes Boundaries of Embodied AI at ICRA

AGIBOT Innovation's WORLD CHALLENGE 2026, held in Vienna alongside ICRA 2026, brought together 526 teams from 27 countries to showcase advancements in embodied AI. The competition focused on two tracks: Reasoning to Action (R2A) and World Model (WM). This event marked a shift from simulation-based evaluation to real-robot testing, enhancing the practical deployment of AI technologies.

The R2A track assessed robots on tasks involving environment comprehension, action planning, and execution. PrismBot from vivo emerged victorious. The WM track, won by NeoVerse-ABot, focused on world changes prediction and modeling interactions. This edition saw participation from high-profile institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and University of California San Diego.

In contrast to conventional simulation-based scores, the competition utilized AGIBOT's EWMBench and Genie Sim Benchmarks for real-world testing, combining online and offline evaluations. This methodology emphasized real-robot stability and practical deployment needs. AGIBOT's efforts have contributed to more robust models that extend beyond benchmarks to real-world applications.
