Air Liquide Completes Sustainability Goals of Its ADVANCE Plan

Air Liquide has successfully concluded the sustainability segment of its 2022-2025 ADVANCE strategic plan. This initiative, which combines financial and non-financial objectives, marked significant progress for the environment, health, and society. By the end of 2025, Air Liquide had decreased CO2 emissions by 13% compared to 2020 and achieved a 46% reduction in carbon intensity since 2015. This success was driven by an increase in low-carbon electricity use and optimized asset management.

The company also addressed health concerns by supporting 2.3 million patients with chronic diseases in over 30 countries, of whom 64% received personalized care. Moreover, its Access to Oxygen initiative provided critical respiratory support in several African nations.

On a broader social scale, Air Liquide improved care coverage for employees and increased diversity with 34% of women in managerial positions. Employee engagement was also enhanced through the "Citizen at work" volunteering program.
