AlphaPet Ventures Acquires Belgian Brand Cpro Food
AlphaPet Ventures, Europe's leading digital brand platform for premium pet food, has announced the acquisition of Cpro Food, a top super-premium brand in Belgium. This marks AlphaPet's fifth acquisition since 2020, further solidifying its buy-and-build strategy.
Founded by Anne-France and Béatrice Germeau in 2014, Cpro Food has gained prominence in Belgium for its high-quality pet food products. The merger allows AlphaPet to leverage Cpro's strong market presence, expanding its access in Belgium, a key market in Europe.
The acquisition was financed through equity and debt, with Patria Investments as lead investor, alongside contributions from Venture Stars. The existing Cpro team and its founders will continue to support the brand's growth phase under AlphaPet's management.
Cpro perfectly complements AlphaPet's existing portfolio, providing a strategic expansion into a high-premium market segment with continuous support from strategic partners like CVC.
