Alzchem Group AG Finalizes Succession Planning with New COO Appointment

Alzchem Group AG, a leader in specialty chemicals, has concluded its long-term succession strategy for the Management Board. Dr. Jürgen Sans will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer starting January 1, 2026, succeeding Klaus Englmaier, who retires at the end of 2025. Dr. Sans, with a 27-year tenure at Alzchem, previously led the Innovation and R&D division. His expertise is expected to guide the company's future growth and innovation.

The Supervisory Board expressed confidence in Dr. Sans' capabilities to continue Alzchem's successful trajectory, noting the seamless transition enabled by early planning. The new management team will include Andreas Niedermaier as CEO, Andreas Lösler as CFO, Martina Spitzer as CSO, alongside Dr. Sans, ensuring the company's continued progress and financial growth.
