Amdocs Appoints Shimie Hortig as New CEO Amid Leadership Transition

Amdocs, a leader in software and services for communications and media companies, has announced a significant leadership change. Shuky Sheffer will retire as President and CEO, effective March 31, 2026, after more than three decades with the company. Shimie Hortig, currently Group President for the Americas, will succeed him.

Eli Gelman, Chairman of the Board, praised Sheffer's leadership through the pandemic and his role in transforming Amdocs into a cloud-native company. Hortig, who holds extensive industry experience, is expected to continue driving strategic growth, particularly in AI and cloud technologies.

As Hortig steps into his new role, he aims to strengthen customer relationships and maintain Amdocs' position as a leading partner in digital and AI transformations.
