Amdocs Launches Global eSIM Traveler Solution at MWC 2026
Amdocs has unveiled its Amdocs eSIM Traveler Solution at Mobile World Congress 2026. This solution aims to help communication service providers (CSPs) retain customers and capture international traveler connectivity revenues. The new offering allows CSPs to offer instant eSIM data plans to travelers directly through their digital channels, countering the rise of third-party eSIM aggregators.
As eSIM adoption grows, travelers increasingly favor pre-arrival connectivity services, posing a challenge to traditional roaming revenues. Amdocs' solution helps CSPs offer localized, competitively priced data plans while maintaining their role in the primary "buy-bill-support" relationship.
The solution includes benefits such as zero-touch activation, unified billing, trusted support, and family-friendly management. Built on the Amdocs eSIM Cloud encompassing over 40 CSP partners, it offers scalability and reliability needed for global traveler connectivity.
