Amoéba Awarded at SIVAL: A Step Forward in Biocontrol
Amoéba, a French greentech company, won the gold medal at the SIVAL Innovation 2026 competition for its biocontrol solution at the SIVAL trade show in Angers. With this award, Amoéba and its partner Koppert will launch their product for vineyards and vegetable crops in 2026. The AXPERA solution, recognized for its protection against fungal diseases, will be marketed under the name TIAGAN in viticulture.
Following strategic agreements and regulatory approval in 2025, Amoéba is preparing to conquer the European market. The company plans to ramp up production, particularly in France and Italy, two priority markets due to regulations that favor sustainable solutions. This recognition underscores the potential of their innovative approach to reducing copper use in agriculture.
