Aperam Reports Best Third Quarter Performance in Four Years Amid Transformation Efforts
Aperam S.A. has released its financial results for Q3 2026, showcasing significant progress despite recent headwinds. The company recorded an EBITDA of EUR 103 million, down from EUR 159 million in Q2 2026, showcasing resilience amid seasonal slowdowns. Shipments totaled 540,000 tonnes, a 10.9% decrease from the previous quarter's 606,000 tonnes. Net income stood at EUR 7 million, contrasting with EUR 116 million in Q2 2026, reflecting challenging market conditions and strategic repositioning.
Despite these challenges, Adjusted EBITDA saw a robust EUR 105 million, buoyed by the Leadership Journey® Phase 6, which achieved EUR 18 million in gains this quarter. Free cash flow before dividends reached EUR 68 million, underlining efforts to bolster cash conversion ratios. Net financial debt decreased marginally to EUR 980 million, reinforcing Aperam's commitment to reducing leverage by the end of 2027.
Prospective figures for Q4 2026 indicate a slight increase in adjusted EBITDA and further debt reduction, as Aperam continues its strategic initiatives aimed at diversification beyond stainless production, reinforced by Sud Sivaji's commitment to operational excellence and expansion beyond European markets.
