Aqarios Partners with IBM for Quantum Software Launch

Munich-based Aqarios Quantum Technologies AG, through its subsidiary Aqarios GmbH, has announced a significant milestone in its collaboration with IBM. The company, a member of the IBM Quantum Network since 2024, has made its quantum optimization software available in the IBM Qiskit Functions Catalog. This software, named "Constrained Quantum Optimizer," addresses complex optimization issues while incorporating constraints directly, thus offering more reliable solutions.

The software facilitates optimization on quantum computers without the need for cumbersome reformulations of constraints. It is integrated directly within the Qiskit framework, which is widely used by about 70% of quantum developers globally. Users can license the software through Aqarios GmbH and use it seamlessly within IBM's quantum computing infrastructure.

This inclusion marks an important step for Aqarios GmbH, enhancing its visibility in the quantum computing ecosystem, particularly given its young history since its establishment in 2021.
