JDC Group Launches AI Agent in German Insurance Market

JDC Group AG has introduced its first AI-based agent aimed at transforming the German insurance brokerage sector. The innovative tool automates routine processes such as issuing insurance policies and handling customer queries, thereby enhancing efficiency. This AI initiative marries JDC's existing platform with generative AI to automate tasks, intending to support, not replace, brokers by managing repetitive activities.

Initially, the AI agent will be applied to specific tasks, with future expansions planned. The agent processes online leads for property and casualty insurance policies, notably legal protection insurance, autonomously from customer interactions to policy issuance. Additionally, the tool offers capabilities like policy document analysis, customer inquiry management, and facilitating policy changes and follow-ups.
