Argyle Resources Reports Remote Sensing Results for Matapedia Silica Project

Argyle Resources Corp. recently unveiled the preliminary results of a remote sensing survey at its Matapedia Silica Project in Quebec. The survey utilized cutting-edge satellite and gas survey technologies, aiming to identify and prioritize high-purity quartzite exploration targets.

The survey spanned 11,000 square kilometers using Sentinel-2A and ASTER data. An integrated approach combining satellite imagery, gas surveys, and geological mapping strengthened target prioritization. Notably, hydrogen detected through gas surveys strongly correlated with high-silica quartzite outcrops, providing a reliable vector for future exploration.

Advanced mineral mapping identified key minerals like opal and chert. Historical and recent sampling of 191 quartz outcrops confirmed high silica content, with some samples showing up to 99.6% SiO₂. Located strategically near crucial geological structures, the Matapedia claim block encourages positive exploration prospects.
