Athena Gold Expands Projects in Ontario and Nevada

Athena Gold Corporation announced significant expansions of its Laird Lake and Excelsior Springs projects. The Laird Lake project in Ontario's Red Lake District expanded by 24%, acquiring an extra 995 hectares, totaling approximately 5,155 hectares. This expansion responds to promising initial results from the 2025 field season. The company collected 2,048 till samples to identify gold anomalies and plans a winter drilling program following a comprehensive results analysis expected later in the year.

In Nevada, the Excelsior Springs project expanded by over 50%, now exceeding 2,500 hectares, through 115 new unpatented mining claims. Athena, in partnership with Firetail Resources, progresses exploration using geophysical data and field mapping. Initial diamond drilling is set to start in Q3 2025. Athena supports Firetail's methodical approach, indicating a strong future potential for both projects.
