Athena Gold Initiates Drilling at Laird Lake Project

Athena Gold Corporation has announced the mobilization of drilling contractors and equipment at its Laird Lake project, located in the renowned Red Lake Gold District of Ontario. This marks the commencement of a fully funded, 5,000-meter diamond drill program focusing on high-priority geophysical and geochemical anomalies.

The drilling campaign includes about ten holes targeting multiple formations, such as the Banded Iron Formation and Balmer Assemblage, known for hosting gold deposits in the region. Athena Gold aims to uncover new mineral resources, emphasizing gold, copper, nickel, and platinum-group elements.

The technical aspects of the project, including data collection and interpretation, have been overseen by Vice President Benjamin Kuzmich. The company's common shares have been consolidated, and they began trading on a post-consolidation basis as of April 2, 2026.
