Aton Resources Reports High-Grade Drilling Results at Abu Marawat
Aton Resources Inc. has announced the completion of its diamond drilling program at the Abu Marawat deposit in the Eastern Desert of Egypt, with significant high-grade results. The program involved 113 holes, covering 9,642.7 metres, targeting near-surface mineralisation in challenging terrain.
The latest results from 29 drill holes (AMD-167 to AMD-195) reveal significant intersections such as 33.86 g/t gold and 419 g/t silver over 2.5 metres from the Fin Vein (hole AMD-190), and 44.59 g/t gold and 103 g/t silver over 1.6 metres from the J Vein (hole AMD-191). These findings confirm the presence of high-grade polymetallic mineralisation, bolstering Abu Marawat's potential for gold mining operations.
The Abu Marawat deposit, approximately 35km northeast of the Hamama West deposit, hosts mesothermal polymetallic mineralisation. The latest drilling has further expanded understanding of the deposit, with results indicating significant resource potential at shallow depths.
