AT&S Appoints Gerrit Steen as New CFO

AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG has named Gerrit Steen as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective February 1, 2026. Steen, with over 25 years of global experience, will join a streamlined three-member Executive Board with CEO Michael Mertin and CTO Peter Griehsnig. This structural change aims to enhance leadership efficiency at AT&S.

Steen's previous role was Group CFO of the DAMAC Group, a large Dubai-based firm. His expertise covers financial strategy and global growth, and he has held significant positions in companies like Fresenius Group and Heraeus. AT&S aims to leverage Steen's skills for expansion in digitalization and electrification fields.

Gerrit Steen expressed enthusiasm about joining AT&S, highlighting opportunities for profitable growth through strategic financial management. Andy Mattes, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, emphasized Steen's valuable experience for AT&S's future.
