AXP Energy Launches First Two Modular Data Centres in Colorado

AXP Energy Limited, in partnership with Blackhart Technologies, has initiated operations of its first two modular data centres (MDCs) at the Pathfinder #2 well site in Colorado. These centers house 515 Bitmain S19J Pro Antminers for bitcoin mining and are supported by AXP's gas-to-power generation using natural gas from the Pathfinder #2 well, enhancing oil production from the Niobrara Formation.

The initial phase focuses on ensuring reliable performance over a 14-day trial, with plans to expand power output to 5MW/h across several sites. This data centre initiative taps into the company's 2C gas resources of 0.744 Tcf, offering a new revenue stream from gas-to-power generation. AXP's on-site technical support aims for optimal operation and showcases future potential to larger customers interested in off-grid power solutions.
