Baader Bank Expands OTC Trading to Weekends

As of 25 October 2025, Baader Bank will extend its over-the-counter (OTC) trading hours to include weekends. Previously, trading was confined to weekdays from 07:30 to 23:00. The new hours will allow trading from 14:00 to 19:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. This change is initially applicable to a select group of securities, including 2500 shares, ETFs, and fund units, all traded in euros.

The move reflects the growing trend of private investors engaging in trading beyond regular stock market hours. Baader Bank's cryptocurrency trading has already shown increased investor activity during off-hours. The extension aims to capitalize on this pattern, offering more flexibility to investors.

According to Oliver Riedel, Deputy CEO, the expansion aligns with Baader Bank's goal to optimize securities trading. Investors can learn more during the Baader Trading Days in Munich on 25 and 26 October 2025.
