Baywater Healthcare sale to Sapio Group completes
Bastide Group announced the completion of the sale of its subsidiary Baywater Healthcare to Sapio Group, in line with the planned schedule. Baywater, a leading provider of respiratory assistance in the United Kingdom, has seen its revenue double since its integration by Bastide in 2018, increasing from €27 million in 2017 to nearly €60 million in 2024-2025.
Vincent Bastide, CEO of the group, explains that this transaction reflects Bastide's asset management strategy. The sale of Baywater allows the company to increase the value of its investments while reducing debt. This decision underscores the effectiveness of the group's targeted acquisition strategy, which focuses on developing the potential of acquired companies.
