Solta Medical Enhances Presence in China with Acquisition

Bausch Health Companies Inc. (NYSE:BHC)(TSX:BHC), through its subsidiary Solta Medical, has acquired Wuhan Shibo Zhenmei Technology Co., Ltd. This acquisition aims to strengthen Solta Medical’s foothold in China's expanding aesthetics market. Effective December 1, 2025, the entity becomes a wholly owned subsidiary, centralizing the distribution of Solta Medical products, including Thermage® FLX.

According to Thomas J. Appio, CEO of Bausch Health, the acquisition expands Solta Medical's reach and market scale in China. It leverages a decade-long partnership with the Shibo group to enhance customer insights and market engagement. Solta Medical intends to meet the rising demand with localized solutions and maintain high-quality aesthetic treatments.

This move signifies Bausch Health's dedication to advancing global aesthetics, aiming to support both providers and patients with reliable and innovative solutions in the growing market. The integration of Shibo's team is expected to accelerate growth and innovation for Solta Medical in China.
