BEACN Announces New Board Member and Finalizes Private Placement

BEACN Wizardry & Magic Inc., a Vancouver-based company, has appointed Charles Huang to its Board of Directors. Huang, co-founder of the successful Guitar Hero® video game franchise, brings expertise in product strategy and brand development. His experience is seen as valuable for BEACN's future direction, according to CEO Kevin Alexander.

In addition, BEACN has closed the final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, raising $700,000 in total. The funds will be used for accelerating B2B and B2C sales, purchasing inventory, and advancing R&D of new products.

The private placement is awaiting final approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. No finders' fees were paid and the issued securities are subject to a holding period in Canada.
