Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft Reports Decline in Half-Year Profit and Updates Forecast

Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft has released its preliminary business figures for the first half of 2025, revealing a decrease in both revenue and profit. The group's normalised consolidated operating profit (EBIT) fell to EUR 3.2 million from EUR 5.1 million in the first half of 2024, while the EBITDA dropped to EUR 7.4 million from EUR 9.4 million in the same period the previous year. Consolidated revenues were reported at EUR 79.9 million, down from EUR 88.4 million a year prior.

The decline is attributed to weaker performance in the branded spirits sector and lost revenue from the regional mineral water business. Consequently, the company has adjusted its 2025 financial year forecast, predicting lower consolidated revenues and profits compared to initial expectations released earlier this year.
