Changes in Société BIC's Board of Directors

BIC has announced changes to its Board of Directors. At a meeting on February 18, 2025, the board noted that Maëlys Castella will not seek re-election when her term expires in May 2025. In response, the board has proposed the appointment of Esther Gaide as an Independent Director. This proposal will be presented for a vote at the upcoming Shareholders' Meeting on May 20, 2025.

If appointed, Gaide will also serve as Chair of the Audit Committee and join the Remuneration Committee. Gaide brings extensive experience, having started her career in auditing and later held significant roles at companies like Technicolor and the Elior Group. She is currently the Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for Forvia and Iliad SA.

Nikos Koumettis, BIC's Chair, expressed gratitude to Castella for her service and welcomed Gaide warmly. These changes mark a strategic shift for BIC's governance structure.
