Biophytis Advances Asian Strategy with Joint Venture in Hong Kong

Biophytis SA, a company specializing in therapies impacting longevity, has submitted the registration filing for its joint venture in Hong Kong. This collaboration with Asian partners, including Ronghui Renhe Life Technology, aims to develop and commercialize BIO101 for sarcopenia in Asian markets. The joint venture, Biophytis Biopharmaceutical Holding LTD, marks a significant step in Biophytis’ strategy to expand its presence in Asia.

CEO Stanislas Veillet highlighted the company's commitment to the region, emphasizing the potential to make therapeutic innovations more accessible. The venture's official registration is anticipated soon, followed by partner contributions. Biophytis will provide patents and development licenses, while Asian partners will contribute a $3 million initial financing tranche. This funding will support BIO101's clinical development in Asia.
