Bittium Oyj Secures Defense Contracts, Enhances Market Position

Bittium Oyj has strengthened its Defense & Security segment with two significant order intakes. The Finnish company received an order from the Finnish Defence Forces valued at €15.9 million for SDR radios and related services. These next-generation radios will replace outdated systems and integrate with existing defense networks, securing Bittium's role as a strategic supplier until 2036.

Furthermore, Bittium's partnership with Cancom Austria AG resulted in an €18.5 million contract to enhance Austria's tactical communication network. This deal promises long-term revenue through lifecycle services extending to 2038. Both contracts signify Bittium's technological credibility in Europe’s defense sector.

These orders, totaling €34 million, underscore the rising demand for Bittium's SDR technology amid European defense needs. Anticipated partnerships could boost its holdings further, reinforcing the company's market presence.
