Vector and QNX announced that Coretura, a platform company founded by Daimler Truck and Volvo Group, has chosen Alloy Kore for its software-defined vehicle (SDV) platform. This selection aims to advance software-defined commercial vehicles, highlighting how Coretura is transforming vehicle development through software updates.
Coretura plans to use Alloy Kore's safety-certified architecture to enhance high-performance computing in commercial vehicles. CEO Johan Lundén emphasized the decision as a step towards delivering vehicles that are smarter and safer.
Alloy Kore combines a real-time operating system with automotive services into a scalable foundation, addressing code development inefficiencies. The platform minimizes overhead and reduces costs, allowing OEMs to focus on brand differentiation.
