BodyHoliday Unveils New Global Leadership Team Amid Expansion Plans

BodyHoliday, a leader in wellness travel, has announced the formation of a new global leadership team to lead its international expansion. The team comprises executives from Fairmont, IHG, and Soho House. This leadership change is in line with BodyHoliday's upcoming European debut, starting with BodyHoliday Algarve in Portugal.

Founded in 1988, BodyHoliday has been a pioneer in wellness tourism. The Caribbean-based resort offers a holistic, all-inclusive experience integrating spa treatments, fitness programs, and nutritious cuisine. Its move into Portugal marks a significant shift, with the new resort set to open in 2029 along Portugal's Eastern Algarve.

CEO Andrew Barnard emphasizes the importance of intuitive wellness. The project, designed by Gensler, features a comprehensive wellness center and upscale amenities. As wellness tourism approaches a $9 trillion industry by 2028, BodyHoliday aims to maintain its core values while pursuing sustainable growth.
