Boron One Holdings Reports Positive PEA for Piskanja Project

Boron One Holdings Inc. has announced a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for its Piskanja boron project in Serbia. The updated report presents a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) reflecting the latest technical studies. The PEA indicates a post-tax Net Present Value (NPV) of $638.8 million and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 89.0%, with an initial capital cost estimated at $79.9 million.

The project projects a gross revenue of $1.97 billion over a 13-year life, with a post-tax net cash flow of $1.16 billion. The average annual gross revenue is expected to be $140.4 million. Boron One's Piskanja project, located in southern Serbia, focuses on colemanite and ulexite production, alongside boric acid, driving forward its endeavors in decarbonization through responsible boron usage.

The Mineral Resource Estimate by Prof. Miodrag Banješević identifies substantial measured and indicated resources, mainly comprising colemanite and ulexite. Project economics assume a constant price of $650 per ton for sales-grade boron minerals and $1,000 for technical-grade boric acid.
