Dr. Sven K. Weber Appointed CEO of BRAIN Biotech AG
Dr. Sven K. Weber has been appointed the new CEO of BRAIN Biotech AG, effective October 1, 2026. He will succeed Adriaan Moelker, who will retire following the completion of his term on September 30, 2026. Dr. Weber has a substantial background in leadership roles, particularly within the BASF Group, where his most recent position was Vice President of the global enzyme business.
Under Moelker’s leadership, BRAIN Biotech was repositioned as an integrated manufacturing firm in the enzyme sector. The company anticipates that Dr. Weber’s expertise will further the growth potential and innovation pursuits of BRAIN Biotech.
Dr. Michael Majerus, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed gratitude for Moelker's contributions and confidence in Weber's capability to continue the strategic direction of the company.
