Branicks Group AG: Strong Support at Annual General Meeting
Branicks Group AG, a prominent German real estate company, successfully held its virtual Annual General Meeting on August 20, 2025. Shareholders approved all agenda items with substantial majorities. This includes the re-election of Jürgen Josef Overath, Michael Zahn, and René Zahnd to the Supervisory Board.
CEO Sonja Wärntges highlighted the company's financial accomplishments in 2024, including a significant reduction in financial liabilities by €667 million. Branicks also repaid an additional €343 million in the current year. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, Branicks met its financial forecast for 2024.
The meeting approved the actions and remuneration systems of both the Management and Supervisory Boards. BDO AG was appointed as the auditor for the 2025 financial year. The meeting represented 51.51% of the voting share capital.
