Brenmiller Energy's bGen ZERO Wins Prestigious POWER 2025 Award

Brenmiller Energy Ltd. has announced that its bGen™ ZERO technology has been awarded the POWER 2025 Commercial & Industrial Generation Award. This accolade follows the technology's recognition by the Edison Awards and TIME magazine. The bGen ZERO, implemented at the State University of New York (SUNY) Purchase campus, significantly improves energy efficiency. It caters to nearly 100% of the campus’s Physical Education building's heating needs and about half of its electricity usage.

The SUNY Purchase project, developed with the New York Power Authority, showcases the system's capability to capture and store exhaust heat for later use. The bGen™ ZERO transforms low-cost electricity into heat, making it both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. This technology also provides grid-balancing capabilities, supporting the broader adoption of renewable energy.
