BTU Metals Corp. Initiates Drill Program on Hubcap Project

BTU Metals Corp. has announced its upcoming initial drill program on the Hubcap Project in Wawa, Ontario. Concurrently, Kinross Gold Corporation has completed its Phase 1 drilling on BTU’s optioned Dixie Halo properties in Red Lake. This exploration saw gold mineralization in all eight completed drill holes, with values up to 6 g/t gold, and identified significant copper-silver intervals. The drilling centered on the TNT area, which Kinross intends to explore further in Phase 2 later this year.

Paul Wood, CEO of BTU, emphasized the promising results from Kinross's drilling program and the value of continued exploration in the Dixie Halo and TNT areas. Additionally, BTU's drill program in Wawa will focus on zones with historical gold occurrences. This effort shows BTU's commitment to investigating potential mineral resources within its expanded land package consolidations.
