Bureau Veritas Issues €700 Million Bonds Due September 2034
Bureau Veritas has launched a €700 million bond with a maturity date set for September 9, 2034. The bonds carry an interest rate of 4.125% per annum. Issued under the Euro Medium Term Note Programme, the bonds were sold at 99.386% of their nominal value. Key players such as BofA Securities, Barclays, Commerzbank, HSBC, NatWest, Société Générale, and UniCredit participated in the syndication.
This issuance targets professional investors and eligible counterparties, excluding retail investors in both the European Economic Area and the UK. Compliance with MiFID II and UK MiFIR regulations regarding product governance is a focal point. The proceeds will be utilized for general corporate purposes, including refinancing.
The bonds will be traded on Euronext Paris, with a Moody's rating of A3, indicating upper-medium grade quality. Despite the 4.217% yield calculated on the issue date, this does not guarantee future performance.
