Bureau Veritas strengthens its position in the data center sector
Bureau Veritas has announced the acquisition of Lotusworks, a company specializing in the commissioning and management of critical infrastructure projects for data centers and semiconductors. This transaction, valued at €375 million, is part of Bureau Veritas' LEAP | 28 strategic plan.
With this acquisition, Bureau Veritas aims to strengthen its Building & Infrastructure division and capitalize on the current market momentum driven by the rise of artificial intelligence. Lotusworks, based in Ireland and operating in Europe and the United States, generated €131 million in revenue in 2025 and brings recognized expertise in critical infrastructure.
The completion of this transaction, which has the potential to be slightly accretive to 2026 results, is expected in the summer of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Bureau Veritas plans to finance this transaction through existing credit lines.
