SKAN Group Acquires Metronik to Boost Digital Services
SKAN Group AG has announced its acquisition of a majority stake in Metronik, a Slovenian company specializing in digitalization and automation for the life sciences sector. This move aligns with SKAN's strategy to enhance its service offerings and digital transformation capabilities.
Metronik, with over EUR 25 million in sales for 2024, will be integrated into SKAN's Services & Consumables segment, expected to contribute positively to earnings per share in 2025. SKAN will own 76% of Metronik, while the current management retains 24% and continues leadership.
CEO Thomas Huber highlighted the strategic significance of this acquisition for SKAN’s digitalization initiatives. The closing of the acquisition is anticipated in the third quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
