Carbios: Results of the General Meeting of June 18, 2026
On June 22, 2026, Carbios announced the results of its Annual and Extraordinary General Meeting held in Clermont-Ferrand. At this meeting, 27.72% of shareholders voted, with all resolutions being approved by over 87%.
During the meeting, Carbios announced the creation of Kaibio Biotechnology Co. Ltd., in partnership with Wankai, to establish the first PET biorecycling plant in China. The technology will remain under Carbios patents, licensed to Kaibio.
Isabelle Parize, chair of the board, thanked the shareholders and highlighted the company's technological maturity in enzymatic recycling, aiming for international expansion.
Carbios' Board of Directors now has eight members, including four independents, consolidating the company's governance.
