CARMAT: Resumption of Quotation and Update on Judicial Recovery
On August 1, 2025, CARMAT announced that its stock would resume trading on August 4. The company, known for its advanced artificial heart, is currently undergoing receivership proceedings, which began on July 1, 2025. A takeover bid has been submitted to the receiver and will be examined by the Versailles Court on August 19. However, there is no guarantee that this bid will be finalized.
CARMAT warns of the risk of liquidation, even in the short term. Shareholders and creditors should be aware of the possibility of a significant loss of their investment. Despite these challenges, the company continues to support users of its Aeson® device.
