Casino Group Engages in Financial Restructuring Discussions
Casino Group is in discussions with Quatrim creditors to adapt and strengthen its financial structure. The group is facing proceedings from TLB lenders who have approached the Paris Economic Court on 6 August 2026, seeking the termination of the existing safeguard plan. This follows the group's engagement in discussions with creditors, which TLB lenders consider a default event.
Casino Group plans to defend its position in court. The court will also review proposed amendments to the accelerated safeguard plans and conciliation agreements submitted on 5 August 2026 in the coming weeks.
