CENIT AG Announces CEO Change
Stuttgart, April 14, 2026 – CENIT AG has announced a change in leadership as Peter Schneck steps down as CEO by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board, effective April 30, 2026. Schneck's tenure was marked by significant contributions to the group's development and international positioning. The Board expressed gratitude for his efforts and wished him well for the future.
Martin Thiel, previously the Chief Operating Officer of CENIT, will succeed Schneck as CEO starting May 1, 2026. Thiel's extensive experience and strategic role in shaping the company's development make him a suitable successor. He collaborated closely with CFO Dr. Johannes Fues to initiate key strategic and operational realignments.
The Board is confident that Thiel will maintain continuity while strengthening the CENIT Group's focus on operational excellence and profitability, ensuring sustainable earnings development.
