TIGGO9 Demonstrates Safety at 2026 International Business Summit

In April 2026, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. showcased the safety capabilities of its flagship SUV, the TIGGO9, during the 2026 International Business Summit in Wuhu, China. The event featured a public three-vehicle composite crash test at Chery's Crash Safety Laboratory, attended by global dealers, international media, and overseas user representatives.

The test involved a simulated high-risk traffic scenario where the TIGGO9 was subjected to a frontal crash at 50 km/h from a TIGGO7 and simultaneously rear-ended at 40 km/h by another vehicle. Despite the impact, the passenger compartment remained intact, and key safety systems, including airbags and seat belts, functioned effectively without fuel leakage.

This performance underscores the TIGGO9's robust safety design, featuring 85% high-strength steel and a 10-airbag system. Chery's commitment to safety is reflected in its existing global five-star safety certifications and ongoing efforts to enhance protection standards for families worldwide.
