CIBOX Opens an Electric Bicycle Factory in Revin
June 11, 2025, marks the official inauguration of the CIBOX electric bicycle factory, located on the former Porcher site in Revin, in the Ardennes. This project, supported by the French government and local authorities, aims to revitalize French industry as part of the Grand Est Region's 2025 mobility plan.
With a surface area of 17,500 m², the factory is equipped with modern equipment to produce up to 150,000 bicycles per year. This industrial unit is expected to generate jobs and strengthen the French sustainable mobility sector, in line with decarbonization and inclusion objectives.
Georges Lèbre, CEO of CIBOX, expressed his pride in this achievement, which resulted from several months of collaboration with local stakeholders. The project embodies an innovative and sustainable industrial relocation strategy.
