Cicor Enters Strategic Partnership with EDMI

Cicor Technologies Ltd has announced a strategic manufacturing partnership with EDMI Limited. EDMI, based in Singapore, is a leader in intelligent energy solutions. This agreement involves Cicor acquiring EDMI's Malaysia-based manufacturing site and forming a long-term partnership. Cicor's annual revenue is expected to exceed USD 50 million from this deal. The transaction is pending approval, expected by Q4 2026.

Cicor, already a partner to EDMI via Cicor Maroc, will acquire EDMI Electronics Sdn. Bhd. for around USD 15 to 20 million. This includes manufacturing assets and inventory. Cicor becomes EDMI’s global manufacturing partner for smart meters, while EDMI continues with design and development.

Cicor sees this as a growth opportunity, enhancing its market position through strategic acquisitions and partnerships. The Johor site will be central for industrial products assembly for the APAC market. They also plan PCB assembly in Vietnam and China. Sales impact, reaching mid-double-digit million CHF, is expected from 2027 without affecting 2026 guidance.
