Cicor Secures Major Contract from European A&D Equipment Leader

The Cicor Group, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, has announced a significant contract win with a prominent European aerospace and defence equipment provider. The contract involves advanced substrates for airborne radar systems, with production set for Cicor's Wangs, Switzerland site. Delivery is expected in 2026, with the initial order valued in the mid-single-digit million CHF range. A more substantial follow-up contract is anticipated for 2027 and beyond.

This development underscores Cicor's leadership in thin-film substrate technology. The additional sales equate to approximately 10% of the annual sales of its Advanced Substrates Division. The transition from Ulm, Germany, to Wangs, is nearly finalized, bolstered by significant site upgrades, including a photovoltaic system.
