Circus Unveils Autonomous AI-Robot for Defense

On April 29, 2025, Circus SE launched the CA-M, an autonomous AI-robotics system designed for defense operations in high-risk areas. This innovative technology aims to enhance troop support by automating meal supply logistics and reducing personnel risks in challenging environments. It is the latest addition to Circus' AI-robotics product line, following their flagship CA-1 system.

The CA-M is built with advanced technology to function autonomously in extreme conditions. Housed in a 20-foot container, it integrates into military logistics for seamless mobility. Operating on the AI-native CircusOS, it can prepare over 1,000 fresh meals per load, minimizing human involvement in meal preparation and distribution.

Nikolas Bullwinkel, CEO of Circus SE, emphasized the importance of supporting soldiers with on-demand nutrition. The company is in active discussions with several NATO-aligned defense forces for initial deployments, and demonstrations are available in Munich.
