CNP Assurances to Redeem €23.75M Subordinated Notes
CNP Assurances has announced the early redemption of its €23,750,000 subordinated notes, ISIN: FR0010167296. Originally issued on March 11, 2005, these perpetual floating-rate bonds will be redeemed on March 11, 2026. This decision is in line with Condition 6(c) of the offering circular that allows redemption for regulatory reasons.
The notes are no longer considered Tier 1 regulatory capital as of January 1, 2026, according to the Solvency II Directive. This redemption allows CNP Assurances to optimize its capital structure, aligning with its growth strategies and market opportunities.
